Lee Etzold and Hello Arts Coordinating Accessibility for Lunar Retreat This new work by Nichole Canuso - Branching Paths, is an immersive, interactive, and multi-sensory performance inspired by the gradual, growing distance between the Moon and Earth. Audio Description(AD) and tactile elements are included alongside the gentle invitations to wander, witness, and reflect on how we move through care, loss, and transformation—both individually and collectively. In some moments, dancers will guide and interact with you through light touch, inviting you to join them in gestures and movement. Come as you are, engage along your own chosen path, and move at your own pace. The ADLN presented at LEAD 2026!
This year, the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability Conference inspired us here in Philadelphia. We connected with accessibility advocates and artists from all over the world! The ADLN presented the Lightning Talk: Beyond Audio Description: Advancing Access through Collaboration which focused on how our Listening Sessions with Theaters, Audio Describers and most importantly the Blind/low-vision communities informed how we trained four new audio describers. Join the Accessibility Cohort of Greater Philadelphia for virtual meetings on the last Monday of every month.
We are a group of professionals from the arts and culture sector who meet monthly to promote accessibility in our field. We are committed to building relationships with and learning from the disability communities we serve. We regularly invite feedback from audiences, artists, and staff members on their experiences using and providing accessible services.
